Snow bird

The haiku in the link below that featured on Every Day Poets today was inspired by a crow in my local park. The bird, with feathers that shimmered blue-black, was on the path in front of me as I walked back home from my daughter’s school.

When EDP suggested Edgar Allen Poe as inspiration for a poem, the crow was suddenly transformed into a raven…I hope you enjoy the moment.
