An incy wincy (or itsy bitsy) haiku…

of mine has been published in this issue of Shamrock, Journal of the Irish Haiku Society, but it’s so small you might not see it! 🙂

My other news is that Shamrock is celebrating its fifth birthday and has published the SHAMROCK HAIKU JOURNAL: 2007 – 2011, a print edition of the twenty issues of Shamrock, as they appeared on the website. I have haiku in issues 18 and 20, so this will be an excellent keepsake, as well as some nice poetry for me to read while curled up by the fire over the dark, winter evenings.

  1. Rob Crompton says:

I enjoyed all of those haikus. It’s a great verse form – well done!

  2. Thanks Rob, I love short form poetry and find it amazing how much can be said in so few words. It really is a meeting of minds between the writer and the reader.

  3. Aaaw, glad incy wincy was spotted and didn’t become squishy wishy.

  4. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Thanks Patsy!
